Privacy notice & terms

Version 2026-09-08.v2 · last updated 8 September 2026.

Tech Mystic is entertainment. It turns ordinary settings your browser shares with every website into a playful personality reading. It does not identify you, and it is often wrong on purpose.

What we look at

Only signals your browser hands to every site it visits: time zone, local hour, language, device type, screen size, light or dark preference, browser name, connection type, touch support, reduced-motion preference, Do Not Track setting, and whether cookies are enabled. Plus the answers you type in: a name of your choosing, an optional email address, a birth year, and a vibe.

During the scan we also demonstrate the fingerprinting techniques used across the advertising industry: canvas and audio rendering, your graphics chip and its limits, which fonts are installed, processor cores and memory bucket. These are combined into a short device code and shown to you, along with an estimate of how rare your combination is. We also set one first-party identifier in your own browser so we can show you whether we recognise a returning device — the same mechanism an ad platform uses.

We do not collect IP addresses, advertising identifiers, browsing history, or the sites you have visited. We run no third-party trackers, pixels, analytics tags, or session recorders, and we do no cross-site tracking of any kind.

What we store, and only if you say so

Nothing is stored unless you tick the save box before your scan. If you leave it unticked, your reading and your device code are produced in your browser and never leave it.

If you tick it, we save: the name you entered, your birth year, your chosen vibe, the browser signals listed above, the device code and the first-party identifier, the resulting archetype and category scores, a timestamp, the version of this notice and of the terms you agreed to along with the moment you agreed, and a short reference code shown to you on the reveal screen.

Your email address is stored only if you separately tick the email box. We then send a single confirmation message; if you do not confirm within 30 days the address is deleted automatically. Every message carries a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing deletes the address and adds it to a do-not-contact list.

If you tick the shareable-page box, your reading gets a public page at a link based on your reference code. That page shows only the name you entered, your aura and your signals — never your email address, your device code, or your browser details.

Who owns a saved reading and who it may be shared with

Tech Mystic is owned and managed by SolarWave Technology Inc. (solarwavetechnology.com) and was developed by DPOI Solutions (dpoisolutions.com). A saved reading is owned by Tech Mystic and SolarWave Technology Inc. By ticking the save box you agree that it may be shared with:

  • SolarWave Technology Inc. and companies within the same group;
  • partnered third-party organisations, including for their own analytics, research, and marketing purposes;
  • service providers who host or process data on our behalf, under contract and only for that purpose;
  • a buyer or successor if the business, or the part of it running Tech Mystic, is merged, acquired, or sold;
  • authorities where the law requires it.

We do not sell your reading, and we do not alter it. Because a saved reading may be used for marketing purposes by us or our partners, ticking the box is entirely optional and unticked by default. Your reading works exactly the same either way.

How long we keep it

Saved readings are automatically erased 24 months after they are created, and sooner if you ask us or use the erase button. Where a reading has already been shared with a partner, our erasure removes it from our records; you may need to contact that partner directly for theirs.

Your choices and rights

You can erase a saved reading yourself with the “Forget my reading” button on the reveal screen, in the same browser session. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to ask for a copy of what we hold, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its use, to withdraw consent at any time, and to opt out of sharing for marketing. Withdrawing consent does not undo sharing that already happened.

Quote the reference code shown on your reveal screen (it looks like TM-1A2B3C4D) so we can find your record. Without it we may not be able to identify which reading is yours, because we hold nothing else that points to you.

To make a request, email DPOI.help@gmail.com. Consent is the legal basis for storing and sharing a saved reading.

Children

Tech Mystic is not intended for anyone under 16, and readings should not be saved by them.

Terms of use

Readings are for entertainment only. They are not advice, not a measurement of you, and carry no guarantee of accuracy. Use the site lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt it. We may change this notice; the date at the top will change with it, and material changes will be reflected on the consent screen before your next scan.

Before any scan runs you must confirm that you are 16 or over and that you agree to these terms and this notice. That box is required and unticked by default, and it is separate from the optional boxes about saving, sharing, and email. If you save a reading, we record which version of these terms you agreed to and the exact moment you agreed, so the agreement can be evidenced later.
